Job:
Hana works as a veterinarian. She spends 3 days a week in a regular vet’s office, and 2 days or so a week at the San Francisco Zoo, where both her mother and brother also have jobs.

Hobbies/Extracurricular Activities:
Walking or running with her dogs, volunteering at a local animal shelter, hanging out with her family. She wouldn’t mind getting a social life either, as hers has been slightly lacking lately. Anybody wanna take her dancing?

This is a character journal for Inuzuka Hana, for Mishima Miasma RP community, played by tricia868.

Bio: Hana is originally from Miami, Florida, where she grew up with her mother and a brother five years younger than her. She’s loved animals seemingly since infancy; there was never any question that her eventual career would revolve around them. Hana’s mother ran a pet shop in Miami, and Hana helped out there from a very young age.

She was relatively serious as a child, particularly when it involved animals…well, serious for her family at least—her mother and brother tended to have so much energy that despite her own not-so-quiet nature, she often seemed the most subdued member of the household. If she wasn’t playing with the animals, she was earnestly considering how to care for them. However, Hana was outgoing enough that she's well-adjusted in most any social situation. And she laughs often and enthusiastically.

Though she’d been surrounded by animals her whole life, and her mother’s dog Kuromaru had been her favorite childhood playmate, Hana didn’t get dogs of her own until she graduated high school. Going through college and veterinary school, first in Miami and then in San Francisco after her family’s move when she was 20, she always lived either at home or in a small apartment rather than a dorm, because she wasn’t willing to be separated from her three husky puppies, Aomaru, Shiroko, and Haiiromaru.

At the moment, Hana finally has an apartment big enough for herself and the 3 dogs, who, no longer puppies, can take up quite a bit of room. She’s close enough that she can still see the other members of her small but close-knit family often, but likes having her own space.
